Community First: A Season of Action and Impact 🍂

ree

By CCP-EDG

As we head into the holiday season, we recognize and applaud all the wonderful efforts in our community to help those in need—through food drives, toy donations, and acts of service. These seasonal efforts are a vital expression of care and community spirit.

But here at the Concerned Citizens of Perry – Economic Development Group (CCP-EDG), we’re hearing something deeper from our neighbors, churches, and local partners: the need goes beyond the holidays. Families are grappling with economic hardship and the ripple effects of the recent government shutdown, which may stretch far into the new year.

That’s why we’re focused on long-term support and sustained community resilience.

🤝 Not Competing—Amplifying

Let us be clear: we’re not here to compete with holiday programs. We’re here to amplify them.

By partnering directly with local churches, community leaders, food pantries, and volunteers, we’re launching a strategic, multi-week campaign that not only celebrates the season—but also strengthens Perry’s support systems for the long haul.

📅 Upcoming Events That Matter

🖌️ November 14–15 – Community Beautification

🎯 Why This Matters

This initiative is about more than the holidays—it’s about building a support network that lasts.

We’re working hand-in-hand with local churches and community groups, not just for now, but for the months to come. Together, we’re weathering the storm of economic hardship and government uncertainty.

This is how Perry shows up for Perry.
